Amish Corn Bread

What is one thing you couldn’t live without when it comes to food around the holiday season? Diane from Iowa says this corn bread recipe is simply the best. You can either take her word for it or make it and try it yourself! You never know, you might just have a new “favorite” around your table!

Amish Corn Bread

  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 cup butter – melted
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 cups corn meal
  • 2 cups flour

Mix together all ingredients. Pour batter into greased 9 x 13-inch cake pan.
Bake 300 degrees for 50 minutes.

  1. My family likes corn bread and this recipe seems very easy and simple. I am heart healthy and will substitute the whole eggs for 4 egg whites, butter with olive oil and less sugar. I know it will turn out good. So a very big “thank you “ to you all.
