Why would anyone say that God causes suffering when Satan is so clearly at work? In fact, God makes use of Satan in our suffering in order to sanctify us, to make us holier. Pastor John leads us through the shocking sovereignty of God, when God permits suffering, knowing exactly what it will produce, His permission is not passive, but his wise, loving, purposeful plan for our ultimate good.
