When God created the world—His design didn’t include sin. There was no warfare, no toxic relationships, no greed or jealousy, no false religion. God’s world is broken because of sin—but there’s a solution!
From the moment of creation, God knew that the world would fall into brokenness. He already had an answer! What was God’s plan to fix the disastrous effects of sin? The execution of the man on the middle cross.
The death and resurrection of Jesus Christ accomplished so much more than any of us realize. Sometimes, it’s hard not to be distracted by the brokenness you still see in the world around you. We all need to be continually reminded that God gave the solution. He’s working everything out.
Easter is coming! When you meditate on what Jesus Christ accomplished, it prepares your heart for worship. How can you better understand what the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ accomplished? And how should you respond?
