There are some points of which all believers are absolutely certain!
1.We know that when our vessel is tossed with the waves and driven by contrary winds, our Lord’s hand is on the world’s tiller, wherever providence may drift. He comes to us walking ON THE WAVES and says, “Be of good cheer! It is I; be not afraid.” (Matthew 14:27)
2.We know that our Lord is wise. We are confident that there can be no accidents, nor mistakes. Nothing can occur without His permission. If we lose all, it is better to lose than to have, if God so wills.
3.We know that all things work together for good to those who love God, whom He calls according to His purpose. This is not just a theory; it is a fact! Every event in our lives is ordained of God and will produce Divine and blessed results IN HIS TIME!
Every son can say, “Father, send me what you will, just as long as it comes from you. You have never given from your table a harmful portion to any of your children.”
