Job Summary
Family Radio (Loam Media) seeks a gifted, full-time audio professional to shape how our ministry sounds across broadcast, digital, and on-demand offerings. This is bigger than just production. It's about using your creative gifts to help this Christian ministry sound as faithful, thoughtful, and alive as the Gospel message it carries.
We proclaim the Bible and help listeners grow as disciples of Jesus Christ. We deliver God's Word plainly, aiming to sound human, trustworthy, thoughtful, and deeply anchored in that Word. We don’t hustle for metrics or chase feel-good vibes without depth; all else is shifting sand.

Donor Communications Manager
Job Summary
Family Radio, a nonprofit ministry of Loam Media, Inc., is looking for a Donor Communications Manager with a strong commitment to serving Jesus Christ and reaching the masses with God’s word.
The DCM is responsible for planning, managing, and executing donor-focused communications that strengthen relationships, build trust, and support fundraising and retention goals. This role oversees mass donor communications, including stewardship, direct appeals, annual giving materials, and surveys, ensuring messaging is clear, accurate, timely, and aligned with organizational priorities. The Manager partners cross-functionally to translate donor insights and performance data into effective communication strategies.

- Contribute to the planning and execution of donor communications strategies aligned with revenue, retention, and engagement goals.
- Support ongoing planning for donor communications, including goals, timelines, budgets, and results tracking.
- Partner closely with cross-functional internal teams, including Marketing, Donor Relations, and Programming, to ensure donor communications are aligned, accurate, and well-coordinated.
- Surface trends, insights, and recommendations to the Director, Communications.
- Manage mass donor communications across channels, including stewardship updates, direct appeals, annual giving statements, and surveys.
- Ensure consistent brand voice, tone, and messaging accuracy across all donor communications.
- Own end-to-end project management for donor communication initiatives, including master timelines, content development, creative reviews, approvals, and delivery.
- Write, edit, proofread, and provide quality assurance for donor-facing content as needed.
- Translate performance data, testing results, and donor insights into recommendations to improve retention and response.
- Prepare and distribute project summaries, outcomes, and return-on-investment reporting.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather donor stories and testimonials that demonstrate impact.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and partners.
- Manage approved budgets and review invoices.
- Establish internal review and approval processes.
- Coordinate data coding and reporting accuracy.
- Evaluate and recommend delivery tools and channels.

Donor Relations Manager

The DRM is responsible for managing and cultivating a portfolio of donors with demonstrated and emerging giving capacity.
This role builds strong, trust-based relationships with donors, develops individualized engagement strategies, and connects donor interests with organizational priorities, initiatives, and funding opportunities. The Donor Relations Manager plays a critical role in donor retention, portfolio growth, long-term philanthropic partnership and planned giving development.

- Manage and steward a portfolio of donors through intentional, personalized engagement.
- Develop and maintain individualized donor engagement plans aligned with donor interests and organizational priorities.
- Build and sustain strong donor relationships through regular communication, meetings, and meaningful touchpoints.
- Identify, cultivate, and solicit mid-level gifts, with a focus on donor growth and readiness.
- Respond promptly and professionally to donor inquiries, requests, and concerns.
- Ensure donor records, contact reports, and activity tracking are accurate, timely, and complete within the donor management system.
- Create opportunities to deepen donor engagement through experiences, events, and personalized interactions.
- Participate in donor-facing events, meetings, and experiences, which may include occasional evenings or weekends.
- Create, develop and lead Planned Giving program
- Execute donor engagement and stewardship strategies developed by Director of Communications and Donor Development team.
