We find these words in 1 John 2:6, “He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.”
How did the Lord Jesus “walk” or live out His life on this earth, which He brought into existence by His Word?
He was the perfect example of humility, love, wisdom, and obedience as He served His Heavenly Father.
He had come to this sin-cursed world on a mission of mercy. He came the first time as the “suffering servant” — to redeem His people from sin.
He specifically came to do the will of His Father, and to finish His work.
Are you and I walking “as He walked?”
