Do you love working with people? Do you love solving problems? Can you do both while maintaining exceptional work team relationships? Family Radio is seeking a dynamic IT Associate to be part of the IT and Engineering Department.


Reporting to the Sr. Manager of IT and Network Operations, the IT Associate will be responsible for supporting IT and Broadcasting software and hardware. This role will also support other departments with designated IT and Broadcasting Equipment support and expertise.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support in the use of personal computer hardware and software
  • Set up and configure computers and user accounts
  • Install software and repair hardware as needed
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose problems, implement corrective action and/or escalate issues as appropriate
  • Administer user accounts
  • Work with staff members to resolve issues
  • Other duties as assigned



  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a closely related field, or equivalent experience required
  • 1-3 years of database or network administration experience recommended
  • System administration and IT certifications in Linux, Microsoft, or other network related fields are a plus
  • Working knowledge of virtualization, VMWare, or equivalent
  • Experience with networking software, hardware, and networking protocols
  • Strong knowledge of helpdesk and IT operations best practices, including knowledge of software functions, storage, data protection, and recovery protocols
