Dear Friend in Christ,
On behalf of all of our staff at Family Radio, may I extend our warmest Christmas greetings! We pray God’s richest blessing upon you and your loved ones this Christmas Season.
When we reflect upon the true meaning of Christmas, our hearts burst with joy for what Christ has done for us. Christ Jesus endured terrible suffering and humiliation to pay for the sins of His beloved people. Yet, Jesus was willing to endure such suffering to save his people from wrath and eternal judgment.
“…And thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins” (Matthew 1:21).
Christmas time is a special time of year. It is a time that we should remember the unspeakable sacrifice Christ Jesus made to atone for sin.
Think of what Christ endured throughout his earthly life. It started from His humble birth in a manger, to his intense suffering at the hands of sinful men on Golgotha.
Yet, during the Christmas Season, we remember His glorious coming as a “babe wrapped in swaddling clothes.”
We remember that Jesus came “to give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace” (Luke 1:79).
We are very honored at Family Radio to have the privilege of broadcasting the true meaning of Christmas. Each year, we preempt regular programming to bring our listeners music which reminds us of the glorious arrival of Emmanuel.
Beginning Monday, December 9, Family Radio will begin airing special programing “Christmas 2013.” We will only play around-the-clock music devoted to the birth of all Kings, Jesus Christ.
This is a marvelous opportunity to invite friends, family and even those who walk in your path to hear the glorious compositions of Christmas! Who knows how God’s Spirit will descend upon the hearts of those who listen.
We are thankful to our faithful Lord for the many ways that He has used listeners like you, through your prayers and support of Family Radio. Thank you again and may God cause His face to shine upon you.
Gratefully yours in Christ,
