God’s Guidance and Direction

Oct 05, 2016

We read in Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”
As I start out this day, I am in dire need of God’s guidance and direction. Furthermore, I realize that I am utterly incapable to live out my life apart from His humility, His wisdom, and His strength. Ultimately, I want His will to be accomplished in my life—regardless of what that might cost me personally, in terms of suffering for righteousness’ sake.
Above all, I pray that I might be prodded into trusting Him with every conversation, every meeting, and every individual I come in contact with today.
As this day unfolds and finally comes to a close, may I again be reminded that once again God’s grace and mercy has sustained me today. May it cause me to desire to be more obedient to Him tomorrow and each successive day thereafter, until He returns… or calls me home.
Again, Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”
