To answer that question we must turn to Genesis 1:26, which is one of the most astounding verses in the entire Bible: “And God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness…”
It staggers our puny imaginations to think that man – the apex of God’s creation – was fashioned in the very image and likeness of the eternal, Triune God.
Turn for a moment to Psalm 90:1-3 and listen to these words, “Lord, thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations. Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God.”
